Step into an impactful contract position supporting K-12 students as a speech-language pathologist. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in delivering speech-language services within schools. You'll work closely with educators and families to develop students' communication skills, making a difference in their academic and social lives.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 17, 2027. Enjoy a stable schedule with 37.5 hours per week, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You'll manage a caseload of 70 students, focusing on consultation rather than case management, allowing you to collaborate and offer expert guidance to school staff and support teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective consultation
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practice in school speech-language therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language consultations for students, educators, and caregivers
  • Screen and evaluate students’ communication abilities
  • Offer recommendations and resources to school staff regarding speech and language needs
  • Support the team with best practices for inclusive classroom communication
  • Monitor students’ progress and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as needed
