School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Costa Mesa, California

Make a meaningful impact in the San Juan Capistrano area by providing essential support as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This full-time role supports local schools during approved Leaves of Absence, with start dates anticipated for mid-October and mid-November. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, active California SLP license
• Experience in a school setting preferred, supporting students’ communication needs
• Adaptability to adjust to evolving caseloads and assignments across campuses
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services in accordance with students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students across multiple grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal outcomes for students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to interdisciplinary teams
• Flexibly manage assignments, as school locations and student caseloads may vary
