This contract opportunity encompasses two key assignment windows: late spring and early fall, offering a rewarding blend of consistency and diversity in your professional schedule. In this full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM), you will facilitate student success through direct therapy, evaluations, and active participation in IEP processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist licensure required
- CCC-SLP preferred, depending on district requirements
- Strongly prefer prior experience in school-based SLP settings
- Proven ability to manage IEP compliance, thorough documentation, and therapy scheduling
- Efficient with both direct student services and formal evaluations
- Experience handling elementary and/or secondary school caseloads is highly valued
- Familiarity with Minnesota-specific school compliance preferred
- Ready to take on existing caseloads with ease and minimal onboarding
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-only services to a caseload of approximately 25 students, with a total service load of around 45
- Deliver high-quality therapy and conduct student assessments in line with school district standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with staff and faculty, communicating student progress and needs
- Step into long-term substitute coverage efficiently during both assignment windows
