Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to a dynamic, contract-based role working in a vibrant school setting near Cottage Grove, MN. This full-time, full school year position (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to make a significant difference in students’ communication skills and overall academic experience.

Your initial assignment will involve supporting at a specific elementary caseload, covering for a maternity leave through Thanksgiving break. Once the main provider returns, your role will transition to provide SLP coverage at other school buildings as needed for leaves and extended absences. In the absence of additional leaves, you'll play a crucial role delivering compensatory speech and language services to students who missed sessions during the year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Valid, active Minnesota State SLP License
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly encouraged
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and team planning
  • Travel to different school sites as assignments require
  • Ensure continuity of services for students requiring compensatory support
