Located in Cottage Grove, OR, this contract position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting. The role involves assessing and supporting students with speech and language disorders, fostering their communication development in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Facilitate therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document student progress with detailed record-keeping
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Engage families in the therapy process, providing education and support

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment

To be considered, candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and possess or be in the process of obtaining a Master’s or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
