Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology as required
- Experience working in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Enthusiasm for supporting a diverse student population in achieving speech and language goals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, fluency, and voice assessments for students as referred
- Develop targeted intervention plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on student progress and goals
- Maintain thorough and timely case notes, documentation, and reports in line with district and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team recommendations
- Stay current on best practices and continue professional development in the field
