This full-time contract position is situated near Cottondale, FL, and is available for the entire school year. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP, SLP-CF, or SLPA
- Strong background in school-based speech and language services
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with students across diverse backgrounds and age groups
- Ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students’ progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services directly to students as outlined in IEPs
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in creating and reviewing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success
- Contribute to team meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement initiatives
