This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work either onsite or virtually, serving both high school and elementary school students as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help ensure students continue to make progress while covering for a leave, making a meaningful difference from October 16th through the holiday break.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with both high school and elementary students
- Ability to deliver effective therapy services in-person or through virtual platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and administrators
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions in either onsite or remote formats, adapting techniques and materials as appropriate for different ages and developmental levels
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Monitor student growth, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Manage a dynamic caseload spanning elementary and high school students
