Step into a vital role supporting students’ communication and learning by providing skilled Speech-Language Pathology services for the fall semester. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work either onsite or virtually, serving both high school and elementary school students as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help ensure students continue to make progress while covering for a leave, making a meaningful difference from October 16th through the holiday break.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally with both high school and elementary students
  • Ability to deliver effective therapy services in-person or through virtual platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and administrators

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in either onsite or remote formats, adapting techniques and materials as appropriate for different ages and developmental levels
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor student growth, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Manage a dynamic caseload spanning elementary and high school students
