Speech Language Pathologist – K-12 School Setting

Employment Type: Full-time Contract (Current School Year)
This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to provide comprehensive speech and language support within a K-12 educational environment. The position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, offering specialized intervention aligned with individual education programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain detailed documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations to support student communication goals
- Use evidence-based practices tailored to diverse learner needs within the school setting
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with State Licensure
- Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and/or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or familiarity with K-12 educational speech therapy services
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in educational populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
