Speech Language Pathologist – K-12 School Setting
Location: Cottonwood, CA
Employment Type: Full-time Contract (Current School Year)

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to provide comprehensive speech and language support within a K-12 educational environment. The position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, offering specialized intervention aligned with individual education programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Maintain detailed documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations to support student communication goals
  • Use evidence-based practices tailored to diverse learner needs within the school setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with State Licensure
  • Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and/or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings or familiarity with K-12 educational speech therapy services
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in educational populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
