You’ll work alongside educators and families, using your expertise to help students develop essential speech and language skills. This position offers valuable hands-on experience across a spectrum of needs and provides a supportive setting for professionals at various stages in their careers.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLP license or SLPA certification in Illinois
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for SLPs; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
• Experience working with PK-8 students, or a strong desire to do so
• Ability to manage caseloads with mixed severity of speech and language impairments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop personalized therapy plans
• Provide direct intervention services to students individually and in groups
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective communication strategies within the classroom
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences as required
