Step into an enriching opportunity working with children and adolescents for the 2026-27 school year, providing speech-language pathology services across PreK, elementary, middle, and high school settings. Collaborate with passionate educational teams to support student growth as you work on a contract basis for 37.5 hours per week in the scenic communities near Cove City, NC and neighboring locales such as Vanceboro, New Bern, Havelock, and more.

Ideal candidates will bring expertise either as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY, eager to directly impact the academic and personal achievements of students from diverse backgrounds. Working with a manageable caseload of 50-55, you’ll have opportunities to deliver therapy in person or via teletherapy, focusing on individualized interventions and collaborative progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina or eligible for licensure
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Background in pediatric populations and school-based caseloads highly preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy are a plus, but not required
  • Competence in managing IEPs and documentation for multidisciplinary teams
  • Positive communicator able to engage with staff, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and direct therapy services for PreK, elementary, and secondary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with special education and general education teams
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in school meetings and family consultations as needed
