Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Covington, GA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist at the elementary level in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This onsite, contract-based position runs through the end of May 2027 and offers steady, full-time hours each week. Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
• Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC certification (either accepted to start; both required eventually)
• Consideration will also be given to Speech-Language Associates certified through GaPSC
• Prior experience or strong interest in elementary-age populations
• Comfortable and motivated working entirely onsite within a school setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize assessment tools to evaluate student needs and track progress
• Participate as a valued team member in meetings, planning, and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to drive positive student outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding documentation and program delivery
