A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized services within educational settings. This position is ideal for a dedicated SLP holding credentials such as CCC-SLP or CFY, looking to contribute to the development and success of students across diverse age groups.

Location: Pawtucket, RI
Setting: Elementary School and Early Learning Center
Employment: Contract, Full-Time
Duration: Maternity leave coverage (minimum 12 weeks, up to 16 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in both an elementary school and early learning environment
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive speech-language intervention plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed to achieve targeted outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or enrolled in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage caseload and provide consistent, high-quality care
