Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current or eligible Rhode Island state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of students’ speech and language abilities
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and create targeted intervention strategies
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ learning needs
• Monitor, document, and report student progress in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Stay updated on best practices and maintain ongoing professional development
