We are currently seeking three full-time contract SLPs for the new school year in Tippecanoe County. You’ll primarily serve students who benefit from an Essential (Life Skills) Skills program, collaborating closely with a dedicated team of educators and support staff. Assignments will be determined based on student needs across local schools, offering a dynamic opportunity to grow and diversify your experience.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or in-process ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Indiana state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Background or interest in Essential (Life Skills) programming strongly valued
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP-targeted interventions for eligible students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Deliver therapy services in group, individual, and/or virtual settings
- Provide consultation and training for school staff regarding communication supports
