Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY SLPs encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain all necessary records
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions according to IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress; adjust intervention strategies as necessary
- Serve as a resource on speech and language-related issues within the school community
