This contract role is perfect for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners for the 2026-2027 academic year. Working full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week), you’ll be based at one school location each day, either Northwood Elementary or Southside School (PreK), allowing you to focus on building meaningful connections with both staff and students.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active FL DOH Provisional SLP License required
- Strongly prefer prior school-based experience
- Experience or comfort working with elementary and Pre-K age groups welcomed
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and integrate into new school settings
- Commitment to completing time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing requirements as outlined
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services onsite to students in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to develop and implement IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents, teachers, and support teams
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required
- Contribute positively to the school’s inclusive learning atmosphere
