Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• At least a few years of clinical experience working with children or in schools
• Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder endorsement, or State of Oregon SLP License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience supporting students with moderate and severe disabilities is highly valued
• Familiarity with low and high-tech augmentative communication systems a plus
• Valid Oregon Driver’s License required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to confidentiality in all aspects of student and staff interaction
• May require a current First Aid/CPR card

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to a varied caseload of school-aged learners, including those with complex communication needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary special education team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide both direct therapy and consultation, integrating augmentative communication strategies as needed
• Support ongoing assessments and progress monitoring for students
• Maintain detailed records adhering to district, state, and federal guidelines
