Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a part-time, contract role. This position centers on providing expert guidance and supervision, with a focus on ensuring that students reach their communication potential. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Eligible Oregon SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Experience with K-12 populations highly preferred
- Knowledge of effective teletherapy tools and platforms
- Strong background in evaluating and treating articulation and language disorders
- Comfortable providing SLPA supervision, including observation hours
Primary Duties:
- Oversee a caseload of approximately 70 students ranging from kindergarten through high school
- Provide direct supervision of an SLPA, guiding best practices and supporting professional growth
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage case files, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Deliver services in-person and/or via teletherapy, as appropriate
- Focus on articulation and language needs, building confidence and skills for academic and social success
