Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders, using evidence-based assessment tools
  • Design and implement tailored intervention strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Provide engaging, goal-oriented therapy sessions for students, both individually and in groups
  • Maintain meticulous progress notes and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, special educators, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and effective care
  • Communicate regularly with families, offering insights and education to empower them in supporting their child’s communication development

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Preferred background in working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work independently while actively participating in a collaborative team environment
