School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Crown Point, Indiana

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the La Porte, IN area. This role offers the chance to make a genuine impact over the 2026–2027 school year while collaborating with dedicated educators and professionals.

This is a 35-hour per week assignment, running from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings is preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively evaluate, plan, and implement therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and correspondence
• Provide direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
• Consult with educational staff to tailor classroom strategies that support communication development
• Offer guidance, resources, and support to families
