Step into a dynamic educational environment for the 2026/2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This is a full-time opportunity working with students to support communication development, help address language or speech disorders, and collaborate with fellow educators.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, CFY considered
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students while working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student progress and encourage inclusion
- Educate families and provide resources to support students outside the classroom as needed
