Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Valid SLP state license or eligibility for licensure in Idaho
  • CCC-SLP credential preferred; CFY candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, either practicum or professional, is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ individual speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct therapy and intervention services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic achievement and social communication
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing data-driven recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress notes
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
