Ideal candidates will have expertise or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or CFY credentials. Those with SLPA experience are also encouraged to apply, as there’s openness to considering professionals at different stages of their career.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress, if applicable
- Experience working within school settings is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, tailored to individual IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
- Adapt approaches to meet a diverse range of student needs, fostering a supportive environment for each learner
