A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a K-12 educational setting north of Atlanta, GA. This position offers 40 hours per week, with part-time candidates also encouraged to apply. Located approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur, this role provides the chance to work in a collaborative environment with ample support from both additional SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, planning and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educational staff to support student communication needs. Candidates will work with a diverse student population, addressing a variety of speech and language disorders consistent with best practices.
Ideal candidates will possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, maintain or be eligible for licensure in Georgia, and have experience in pediatric healthcare, school settings, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) completed or in progress. Experience across multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school) is highly valued. Medicaid billing is not part of this position, allowing focus solely on educational service delivery.
