Key qualifications include:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and CFY candidates welcome
  • Knowledge of healthcare-related SLP practices an asset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)

This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with part-time candidates also considered. The caseload is within a well-supported team environment where Medicaid billing is not required, allowing focus on student-centered therapy services.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy for students across Elementary, Middle, and High Schools
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions to meet diverse communication needs
  • Participating in team meetings and maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with school policies
