An engaging opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a well-supported educational setting in Cumming, GA. This contract position spans the current school year and offers both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time options to accommodate varying availability.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Credentialed as an SLP with certification such as CCC or CFY
  • Experience working within school settings across multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, high)
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy and healthcare-related speech pathology
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other SLPs and SLPAs within the school system
  • Comfort working in a school environment where Medicaid billing is not required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and individualized speech and language therapy for students across K-12 grade bands
  • Collaborate with a team of school-based SLPs and SLPAs to develop and coordinate therapy plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with school district policies and educational standards
  • Engage with educators and families to support students’ communication goals
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment

Location and Work Environment:

  • Position is based in Cumming, GA — approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur, GA
