An excellent contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students. This role supports elementary, middle, and high school populations with a focus on collaboration and fostering student success. Both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time positions are available, providing flexibility to suit your scheduling needs.
This position serves schools located just north of Atlanta and west of Decatur, convenient to communities such as Decatur, Athens, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Norcross, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lilburn, Grayson, Hoschton, and Duluth. You’ll enjoy a supportive environment where each school employs multiple SLPs and SLPAs, ensuring teamwork and shared expertise.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Georgia SLP license or eligibility required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
- Experience working with school-aged children, with consideration for pediatric and teletherapy backgrounds
- Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across grade levels
- No Medicaid billing required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and complete timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt to various delivery models, including teletherapy
