You'll join a collaborative, well-supported team with existing SLPs and SLPAs in each school, ensuring you have access to shared expertise and assistance. With no Medicaid billing required, you can devote your energy to what matters most—helping students achieve their communication goals. Enjoy a role based north of Atlanta and west of Decatur, with needs also posted throughout Decatur, Athens, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Norcross, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lilburn, Grayson, Hoschton, and Duluth.
Desired qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Georgia state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP
- Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders
- Knowledge of school-based therapy models, IEP development, and compliance
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Deliver direct and consultative services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Track progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state standards
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
