This contracted, full-time position is located near Cupertino, California and offers the chance to work among a dedicated team of educators while enriching student development and communication skills. Hours run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured and consistent schedule throughout the school year.
Ideal candidates will possess expertise in speech-language pathology and demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting a diverse, school-aged caseload of approximately 45-50 students. Your knowledge and commitment can help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current or eligible California SLP licensure
- Either CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligible for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience—preferred within school settings—with elementary and/or high school populations
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, families, and support staff
- Exceptional communication, empathy, and time management abilities
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver interventions and therapy in individual and group settings tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attend IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and related service providers to promote student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development
