Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, adapting therapy plans as needed
- Proficient in conducting assessments and creating individualized education programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students with varying needs
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on student evaluations and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
- Monitor, review, and adjust interventions regularly to ensure student growth
