School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

This opportunity, starting mid-October, is housed within an elementary school setting, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 35 students. As a full-time SLP at the elementary level, you'll work side-by-side with educators and families to help children thrive in their communication abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Ohio SLP license and current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Clinical experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of childhood speech and language development
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, targeting communication, articulation, and language skills
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to meet each child’s needs
• Maintain clear documentation and progress tracking
• Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as needed

Schedule & Assignment Details:

• Assignment Duration: Approximately 8 weeks, starting mid-October
• School Hours: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Caseload: Roughly 35 elementary-aged students
