Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Background in school-based practice considered an advantage
• Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• In-depth understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, SLPAs, OTs, PTs, and educational staff
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress and goal achievement
• Keep thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with school district standards
