Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in schools is highly valued
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Well-versed in developing and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs for students
  • Create and implement personalized therapy plans to facilitate student growth and participation
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams, including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
  • Monitor student progress, keep accurate documentation, and share updates with teams as needed
