Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Cypress, Texas

Ideal candidates possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, hold (or are eligible for) active Texas licensure, and preferably have ASHA certification (CCC-SLP). Prior school-based experience is desirable, and comfort with AAC devices and IEP processes will help you support your students with confidence.

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active or eligible Texas state licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in school-based settings a plus
• Familiarity with AAC devices essential
• Strong understanding of IEP documentation and procedures

In this full-time or part-time, onsite preferred role, you'll:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster student progress
• Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and fellow PT, OT, and SLPA professionals to provide well-rounded solutions
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for compliance and communication
