Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school environment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, collaborating with caregivers, families, SLPAs, OTs, and other professionals
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining clear and accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
