Key qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active (or eligible) Texas licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior school-based experience, including CFY candidates, strongly valued
- Familiarity with AAC devices and related interventions
- In-depth understanding of the IEP process and documentation
- Experience collaborating with caregivers, families, SLPAs, OTs, and other team members
