Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage
• Familiarity with AAC devices
• Solid understanding of IEP development and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations
• Develop tailored treatment and therapy plans based on each student’s unique needs
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams including other SLPs, SLPAs, PTs, and OTs
• Monitor student progress and update documentation to ensure best outcomes
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records for compliance and continuity of care
