Key qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active (or eligible) Texas licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior school-based experience, including CFY candidates, strongly valued
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and related interventions
  • In-depth understanding of the IEP process and documentation
  • Experience collaborating with caregivers, families, SLPAs, OTs, and other team members

In this role, you'll have the rewarding responsibility to:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans for each student
  • Track and monitor student progress, making timely modifications to intervention as needed
