Pediatric School-Based SLP | Cypress, Texas

Serving a K-12 school district in the Cypress, TX area, this full-semester contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in educational settings. The position supports students across North Houston neighborhoods including Bammel, Westfield, The Woodlands, and Aldine.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
• Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) applicants with relevant experience may be considered
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills advantageous
• Flexible to hybrid work schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of K-12 students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and monitoring
