Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This contract position supports students in a dynamic educational setting near Cypress, TX. You’ll play a vital role in helping children reach their communication goals and collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow therapists.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff across diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, follow school protocols, and document student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups as assigned
  • Deliver progress reports and update goals as necessary
