Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Skillful with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings, comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide training and resources for staff and families as needed
