Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. This part-time opportunity (approximately 20 hours per week over 2.5 days) lets you make a meaningful impact while balancing work with other pursuits. You'll collaborate with educators and families to enhance student communication skills in a vibrant educational setting near Cypress, TX.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Skillful with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
  • Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech/language screenings, comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide training and resources for staff and families as needed
