This contract opportunity features full-time, onsite work for the upcoming academic year, focusing on the supervision and evaluation responsibilities essential to student support. You'll collaborate across campuses, lend your expertise to multi-disciplinary teams, and help shape positive outcomes for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience in a school setting strongly recommended
  • Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Proficient in conducting speech-language evaluations
  • Comfortable facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SLPAs to ensure compliance and quality of student services
  • Complete timely and thorough speech-language evaluations
  • Lead and document ARD meetings as assigned
  • Collaborate with campus administrators, educators, and families to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in program compliance
  • Operate exclusively in evaluation, supervision, and facilitation capacities (no direct therapy required)
