What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist License in Texas (SLP-CCC required)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, with a focus on primary and elementary aged students
  • Proficiency in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Strong skills in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
  • Comfortable leading and facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise SLPAs and ensure best practices in service delivery
  • Complete thorough speech-language assessments for students as needed
  • Coordinate and facilitate ARD meetings, advocating for student needs and appropriate supports
  • Foster collaborative relationships with school staff, administrators, and families
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Note: This role does not involve direct therapy provision
