Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Based near Cypress, TX, this is an onsite, full-time (or flexible full-days part-time) contract role, serving students in a vibrant educational community just west of Houston.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise working with pediatric populations and a background in school-based speech therapy services. Both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are invited to interview. This role does not focus solely on assessments or supervision—instead, you will deliver comprehensive support and interventions to students throughout the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and eligibility for Texas
- CCC completion or current CFY status
- Background in providing speech therapy within a public school setting preferred
- Proven experience in pediatrics is essential
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and commit to a full-time schedule; flexible for those interested in 2, 3, or 4 full days per week (no partial days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students in grades PreK-12 within an educational environment
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
