Preferred qualifications and desired experience:

  • Hold a current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in a school-based setting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting diverse learners

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Engage in professional development to support ongoing growth
