Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active SLP or SLPA license is mandatory
- ASHA Certification required for SLP applicants
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for their needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Deliver direct therapy services, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning and progress reporting
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and staff regarding speech-language needs
