Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a school setting
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Experience with elementary populations; self-contained classroom background is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
  • No SLPA or Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, supporting bilingual language development
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and provide thorough evaluations
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families to support student success
  • Travel to elementary campuses within the district as required
