Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current (or eligible for) speech-language pathology licensure in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience providing speech therapy services within a school setting
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
- Offer consultation and in-class support to educators, ensuring therapy goals are integrated into daily learning
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and support both virtual and in-person models if required
- Remain up-to-date with best practices and ongoing professional development
