Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong desire to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication, language, articulation, and swallowing disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students across grade levels
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and track student progress in accordance with special education law and school guidelines
- Consult with teachers, caregivers, and other allied professionals to support student IEP goals and ensure carryover into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and professional development as needed
