Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a speech-language pathologist in the heart of beautiful Oregon! With five positions available, you’ll play an essential role in school communities throughout Linn and Benton Counties, providing in-person services that foster students’ communication skills and overall well-being.
This assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through June 17, 2026, offering the flexibility of full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time schedules to fit your professional goals. Your workday will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm onsite, allowing for a consistent routine and meaningful in-person interaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Oregon schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility; Clinical Fellow (CF) considered
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services onsite
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Caseload sizes range from 50–60 for full-time assignments, with student ages and needs varying based on placement
