A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Dallas, Oregon, serving K-12 students across Linn and Benton Counties. This contract position spans the current school year, with a start date ASAP and ending on June 17, 2026. Candidates will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of students within this diverse educational community.

Key Details:

  • Number of openings: 5
  • Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; part-time candidates are considered
  • Caseload: Approximately 50-60 students for full-time roles
  • Population: K-12 students, with potential assignments ranging from a specific age group to the full grade span
  • Worksite: Onsite positions only within schools located in Linn and Benton Counties

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and legal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations to support student success

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience serving school-aged children within K-12 settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
  • Competence in managing a caseload and scheduling to optimize student services
