This contract position focuses on supporting students during the 2024-2025 school year by addressing communication disorders and fostering their academic and social development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language challenges.
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Promoting effective communication skills to enhance social interactions and overall learning outcomes.
  • Providing services in various settings, including in-person and teletherapy, to meet diverse student needs.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Current Texas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, and school settings is advantageous.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
