Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to elementary students within the school setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, formulate individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress with thorough documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive environment for communication growth.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and lend expertise during multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Adhere to timely and accurate Medicaid billing procedures and progress reporting requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP setting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.

Role Overview:

  • Full-time contract for the remainder of the school year.

  • Compensation starts at $45 per hour and may be negotiable based on experience.
