Shape meaningful educational experiences as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. In this dynamic role, you’ll support a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings, collaborating with educators and families to help students unlock their full communication potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure in Texas
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Experience working with students ranging from K-12, including developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and providing direct as well as consultation-based therapy
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student

Your Role Will Include:

  • Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ speech/language strengths and needs
  • Designing and delivering individualized and group therapy sessions for students in grades K-12
  • Participating in IEP meetings; developing and documenting appropriate goals and progress
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
  • Keeping accurate records and progress notes in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Assisting with parent education and acting as a resource in fostering student communication skill development
