Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs welcome to apply
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and parents
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support children’s diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Track student progress, document services, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to integrate strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development as needed
- Offer consultation and resources to educators for maximizing classroom communication opportunities
