Ideal candidates bring either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Your expertise will help shape supportive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and foster progress through evidence-based interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Georgia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered service and ethical practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnostics, and screenings for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for effective communication strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to support student goals
